An example of second generation Dynamobil with two accessories; tumbler / polisher and twin drop hammer.
An example of second generation Dynamobil with three accessories, polisher / tumbler, twin drop hammer, and newly designed twin trip hammer.
One of the new accessories designed for the second generation was not available by itself. This table saw was permanently connected to the Dynamobil motor. It did not actually cut wood, but when the permanently affixed piece of wood was pushed toward the blade, it made a loud sawing sound.
Another new accessory for the second generation was a mixer, also available as a separate item.
This accessory is very unique. Many other toy manufacturers made drop hammers, trip hammers, saws, etc., but I have never seen another manufacturer’s version of this fall hammer. The hammer mechanism is raised to the full height and when released comes down with a crashing thud.
Three small size first generation Dynamobils with two accessories. The back example is mounted on a tinplate base. The middle example is a typical production piece and the front sample has some of the dullest decoration of the accessories. I would guess that the factory was experimenting or had a shortage of materials with which to lithograph.

Hess Dynamobil Table Saw Accessory
Base: L 7.06” (17.9 cm), W 3.44” (8.7 cm), H 2.38” (6 cm)
Marked: “D.G.R.M.”, “D.R.P. angem.”, “96”, “JLH” logo
This table saw accessory was available with a wooden base and without any base. It is generally seen with the Dynamobil motor attached and although offered in the Hess catalog as a separate accessory, it is extremely hard to find by itself. When operating, the pulley freewheels until the lumber is pushed into the sawblade. Of note are the two pulleys of the main drive; one small, one large.
